Commissioner's Community Initiative

As part of its "MLB Going Beyond" community and cause marketing initiatives for 2010, Major League Baseball is proud to execute The Commissioner's Community Initiative, which builds on the past success of the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids.

The primary goal of the Commissioner's Community Initiative is to distribute tickets to those youth-serving, community and civic groups who normally would not have the opportunity to attend a Major League Baseball game.

From 2004 through 2010, MLB and all 30 Clubs gave away more than six million tickets to youth groups and charitable organizations.
