Ford Heights Park District in Ford Heights, Illinois serves a community that has long been underserved in terms of economic development and social opportunities. With the help of a coach determined to make a change and the Cook County Sheriff's Office, the wheels were put in motion to restore the community baseball field. The Baseball Tomorrow Fund, joined by Cubs Charities and Major League pitcher, Jason Hammel, helped to resurrect Excell Walker Field.
