The development of construction design plans serves several purposes: 1) determining the final product; 2) developing a scope-of-work; 3) creating a budget; and 4) preparing a schedule of work. For requests to the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF), construction design plans must be submitted for field renovation, construction, field lighting and indoor and outdoor (covered) training facility projects. Learn about the information needed in construction design plans submitted to BTF.
Grant requests need strong supporting documentation to demonstrate thorough planning and to ensure that the project budget and request is based on current, realistic information. BTF requires written cost estimates for all budget items listed in each request. Read about why good cost estimates are needed and what each should include.
